The first time #SethRogen met #IkeBarinholtz he thought the fellow comedic actor was nothing more than #DannyMcBride’s assistant. Rogen and Barinholtz revealed as much during a Sirius XM Town Hall interview with “Real Housewives” producer #AndyCohen on Wednesday. According to both men, who co-star right now in the Apple TV+ comedy series “#TheStudio,” they met under unlikely circumstances years ago when they were both in North Carolina at the same time. “I was shooting ‘Eastbound & Down’ with Danny McBride, and he called me and was like, ‘Hey, do you know Seth Rogen?’ I was like, ‘I know who he is,’” Barinholtz recalled. “He goes, ‘Do you have any weed?’ and I was like, ‘Yeah, I have a little.’ He goes, ‘Can you go down to room 237 and give Seth Rogen some weed?’”
