This month, we’re featuring special programming on unlikely friendships between invertebrates and other animals, and they’re closer than you think. Check out the goby fish and pistol shrimp in our Waters Edge exhibit! These special friends share a mutualistic relationship, where the shrimp digs a home while the fish protects them from predators. The shrimp also helps maintain the plants around their shared home.
