Kappa, a brand known for its sportswear heritage particularly in the 90’s and 00’s, have teamed up with high fashion brand Acne Studios – popular for their minimalistic and contemporary design ethos – to create a capsule collection. The two are looking to bridge the gap between sportswear and streetwear/high fashion with a collection that perfectly blends each market together. With the growing popularity of athletic styles, it is no surprise to see a collection of this magnitude. The campaign shoot for the collection features a dark, moody aethetic – appealing to Acne Studios nonchalant appeal. The pieces are captured on British record producer and musician Tricky and lensed by Jordan Hemingway All shots sit in a dark stone background that allows the pops of colour off some of the pieces come to life.
