I’m incredibly honored to share that I’ve been nominated for sachamamaorg’s 100 Latinos Most Committed to Climate Action 2024. Sachamama is a nonprofit dedicated to uplifting climate action within Latino and Indigenous communities. As a Mexican conservationist, I have a powerful connection to Latino culture and to nature, especially to the stories and resilience of Indigenous communities. This connection is my compass, as I dedicate my work to conservation and Indigenous advocacy. Like Sachamama, I believe in protecting not just cultural heritage but the last wild places on Earth, preserving them for future generations. Thank you, Sachamama, for this recognition.
