These photos are so precious to me. I had scheduled updated professional headshots with stevenmartine awhile ago, and the date of our shoot ended up being the day of my second, pregnancy-confirming hCG bloodwork with my IVF clinic… I almost cancelled / rescheduled our session because I was so scared of getting bad news. I got the portal results just as Steve was finishing setting up. Unfortunately it was also just as folkishskincare had finished doing my makeup, which immediately became tear-streaked. 🥹🫶 I grabbed my ultrasound from the day of embryo transfer and my positive pregnancy test from the day before and instead of our traditional, professional astronaut headshots we had planned, Steve ended up capturing my very first pregnancy photos. These images— these multitudes— mean so much to me.
