Had a fantastic time at the 9th Trainers' Camp organized by #UpstepAcademy for its coaches. Engaging with their passionate coaches is always a pleasure, and this camp was no exception! 🌟 To start off, we explored the significance of classic chess games - how they shape chess understanding and remain relevant even today. Further, I shared insights on redefining classics and making them more impactful for students. A fun twist came with the 'How Well Do You Know Vishy?' segment - where coaches tested their knowledge about me. And they did pretty well! This was followed by ‘Coach’s Corner,’ where a few coaches shared how past camp ideas were used by them to help their students in their chess journeys. The interactive Q&A, which is always a highlight, saw insightful questions from the coaches about chess coaching and even a few about me personally! I enjoyed the discussions, offering my perspective, and helped the coaches with actionable takeaways. What truly makes these camps special...
