It was a pleasure to be part of Upstep Academy's 9th Master Camp! Over two hours, we covered a lot of ground as I connected with their wonderful students! We began with a deep dive into the incredible rise of Gukesh, our new World Chess Champion. Reflecting on his 12-year journey, analyzing his games, and discussing the skills that led to his historic achievement was an absolute joy. Gukesh's phenomenal feat of becoming the youngest World Chess Champion marks a new chapter in both Indian and global chess, and it was truly special to share with the students how it all unraveled.   One of the camp's highlights was the Rapidfire segment with Upstep's 10-year-old student, Candidate Master Reyaansh Chakrabarty.
