I had the immense pleasure of giving a Simultaneous Chess Exhibition organized by Upstep Academy at the R City Mall in Ghatkopar, Mumbai. Played on March 30th, it was a memorable experience facing off against 25 young kids, 23 of whom were from Upstep Academy. I was happy to win most of my games, conceding a couple of draws in the process. Two Upstep students - Pratham Motwani and Shubh Patel - particularly stood out. Kudos to the duo who showed remarkable resilience and duly managed to earn hard-fought draws 👏 Alongside our homegrown talents, it was nice to see young minds from Singapore and the UAE also come down for the simul. The event lasted for more than two hours, and it was encouraging to have an electric crowd gather for the same. I am grateful to everyone who came to support and witness the action.
