"I would consider myself a travel/observational photographer who works almost exclusively with film. Not to sound cliche, but I love the sense of being in the moment that film provides. I take less photos when using film, but end up with more keepers as a result of the thought and consideration it forces you to put into each shot. Plus, and this is the most important thing, I just get a joy from shooting film that I don't get from digital. It's for that last reason that I bring along a 35mm film camera and a grip of Kodak film whenever I travel. All the airport security check anxiety is worth it when I get home and get my negatives back from the lab and am able to relive the trip one frame at a time.
