I created what triumph after being broken feels like. Come watch the creation process This painting is part of my Jade series. Jade is believed to eliminate bad spirits and bring good luck and fortune. The design was inspired by Kintsugi, a Japanese technique used to repair broken pottery with gold. Repairing this way makes the pot more beautiful and strong that it was prior to being broken. Instead of hiding the scars, it hi-lights them in a beautiful way. To me, this painting is an symbol of coming back stronger and more beautiful after being broken. And then moving forward with prosperity and good fortune. I can’t tell you how much I love some of the little details in this painting. With each new painting I gain a little more skill and knowledge. Maybe even something other people wouldn’t notice, but I notice it. These little details in Sage make me so happy. ————— “Sage” • 35in x 60in diptych • sold For art inquiries email hi@KimRoseArt.com #contemporaryart #art #artist #...
