Firstie Friday! This week’s #FirstieFriday is Solomon Woldeselassie, a member of 23.hellfish from Hampstead, MD! He’s a Robotics & Control Engineering major who serves as the Brigade Executive Officer. Solomon’s billet acts as the Chief of Staff for nearly all Brigade-level roles while ensuring feedback is passed up and down the chain of command, the Brigade’s voices are heard, and daily operations run smoothly. His motivation for pursuing this position was to help advocate for midshipmen, ensuring everyone’s voices are heard. Solomon is very involved on the Yard, being active in the Officers Christian Fellowship, Society of American Military Engineers, and the club water polo team. In his free time, Solomon enjoys kayaking, swimming, snowboarding, and cooking. His fun fact is that he has five siblings and his older sister is in the class below him.
