This week’s edition of #FirstieFriday features MIDN 1/C Tommy Chase from Mechanicsburg, PA! Chase is a Brigade Investigating Officer for Honor, a Squad Leader in 25th company, and an Operations Research major. He is part of the Catholic Midshipmen club, Intramural Dodgeball team, and Marathon team. In his free time, he enjoys swimming, reading, and spending time with friends. Both of Chase’s parents served as supply officers in the Navy, and his sister graduated as a USNA ‘22 Surface Warfare (Nuclear) officer, inspiring him to continue family tradition and join the fleet as an officer. During his time here, he has completed a semester exchange at West Point, attended USMC Mountain Warfare school in Bridgeport, swam with sharks on his 2/C cruise aboard USS Gunston Hall, and made countless other fantastic memories. He will commission as a Submarine officer in May and cannot wait to graduate and begin leading!
