Firstie Friday! This week’s #FirstieFriday emphasizes Domestic Violence Awareness Month (DVAM), featuring Midshipman 1/C Tenney Shaughnessy and Midshipman 1/C Jackson Shouldis. Jackson is an Aerospace Engineering major from Huntington, West Virginia. He is a member of 21st_co_blackjacks and is the SAPR GUIDE Commander. As the Brigade’s GUIDE Commander, Jackson is responsible for training and enabling GUIDES throughout the brigade to provide education, information, and direction for individuals seeking support regarding sexual assault incidents. He originally joined the GUIDE team because he’s seen the impact of this peer-led resource firsthand and hopes to be the change and difference that someone may need. Tenney is a Political Science major from Alexandra, Virginia. She is a member of humansofsixteen and the powerlifting club.
