This year's tx2k marked the debut of the latest halo car from AMS Performance, the ALPHA GT4. A factory Audi R8 LMS GT4, turned up to 11 🚀 The team in the shop has been working in secret behind the scenes to bring this project to life and its time we shed some light on the project 🔦 This build came to us as an unfinished project with a lot of potential 📈 The framework was there, but many changes needed to be made in order to bring this car to where it is now. Our team has somewhere in the ballpark of 600 hours into this build since starting on it last year 🔧 Every system, including the turbo system, has been reworked, replaced, fabricated, or assembled by our team 👨‍🏭 There were only a handful of small pieces carried over from the previous iteration of this build: turbo support brackets, intercooler piping, and the fuel pressure regulator.
