Think about a concept coming up in October that you need to attach to an experience. Increased engagement paired with an academically challenging task = a higher rate of skill mastery! So get ready for some fear factor! 👀🕷️ Grab some boxes and cut a hole large enough for students to place their hands into. Then you can literally add anything to these boxes - cooked pasta, dried apricots, grapes, frozen peas, literally anything goes! You can use this lesson to fit the needs of pretty much any content. Use it to have students work to make strong scientific observations. Maybe they are tapping into their five senses to do a descriptive writing piece or add descriptive details to a piece already in the works. Or you can even add task cards with any content.
