#ad Colorado’s wild spaces are pure magic. 🏔️❄️ If you love exploring these landscapes as much as I do—whether it’s hiking, biking, or skiing—here’s something you might not know: A huge part of conservation funding in Colorado comes from hunting and fishing license fees. These funds directly support wildlife conservation, from restoring habitats to protecting endangered species like lynx and boreal toads. They also contribute over $3.25 billion to our state’s economy and support thousands of local jobs. Even though I don’t hunt or fish, I’m grateful for the role hunters and anglers play in keeping Colorado wild. I do my part by practicing Leave No Trace, staying informed on wildlife issues, and advocating for science-based conservation. What about you? How do you help protect the places you love?
