The Castle Of Lions mostly stayed on Arus during Voltron: Defender of the Universe. "Mostly" is not how you'd usually describe how much of a castle's time it spends on the planet it's on. That's because, unlike, say, Windsor Castle, or Château de Chambord, or Matsumoto Castle, The Castle Of Lions had a secret Flying Fortress mode. A full crew of engineers (who apparently take fashion tips from Pidge), were on hand to launch The Castle Of Lions skyward. Not only that, but it could convert into a battleship in case Voltron needed air support. This comes as no surprise for fans of Legendary Defender, where The Castle Of Lions takes off in episode 4. However, on Defender of the Universe, The Castle Of Lions doesn't reveal its secret until episode 52. This episode was originally intended to be the Lion Force finale.
