A massive fire in the Kensington section of Philadelphia is under investigation Friday. The Philadelphia Fire Department said the fire started just before 1 a.m. at a church on the 2000 block of East Allegheny Avenue. Multiple parts of the church collapsed from the blaze as about 100 firefighters responded. Thankfully, no other buildings were damaged. Four homes were evacuated as a precaution and residents were receiving help from the American Red Cross. The Philadelphia division of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is assisting as the city fire marshal's office investigates the cause of the fire.
