Each year, more than 17,000 Aggie students unite to serve local residents through the Big Event, a powerful expression of Texas A&M University’s Core Value of selfless service. From raking leaves to painting fences, students build meaningful connections with residents and leave a lasting impact on the Bryan-College Station community.
What began in 1982 has grown to a movement on 100+ campuses as Texas A&M University students lead with gratitude and action. Through the One Big Thanks Conference, chapters from across the country visit College Station to learn, plan and shadow day-of logistics so they can serve back home.
