Police in Wildwood, New Jersey, are warning parents they can face hefty fines if their child is caught out past curfew this summer.
Police will strictly enforce a 10 p.m. curfew for minors.
"If you act like a fool, you're going to be treated as a fool," Wildwood Mayor Ernie Troiano Jr. said.
Any minor found out past curfew will be arrested and taken to police headquarters, where parents could face fines up to $1,000 when they pick up their child, according to city officials.
