This past weekend, the Africa Women in Sports Initiative (AWISI) was officially launched in Nairobi, Kenya! 🇰🇪 150+ women from over 20 African countries came together to celebrate a movement 6 years in the making. Built by women, for women to empower, unite and elevate women in sports across the continent. Founded by Dr. Mariam Mpaata, alongside co-founders like Carol Radull and Cynthia Mumbo, AWISI is here to shift the game.
