Just behind Gaylord Hall on our Norman campus, seeds from the original Survivor Tree — the American elm that withstood the Oklahoma City bombing — were planted in remembrance and hope Wednesday evening. This tree embodies the legacy of strength, healing, and community that has defined Oklahoma for the past three decades. Just as the original Survivor Tree stood tall amid destruction, its seedlings now take root at OU as living symbols of our shared commitment to remember the lives lost and to honor the spirit that endures. #WeRemember
