When I first saw that @Patrick Ta Beauty launched a body oil, body cream and a hair & body mist and opened these in PR, I had questions. I immediately ask myself, does this make sense for an artistry brand? Or is it starting to feel like a pivot? Because here’s the thing: Patrick Ta Beauty built its name on sculpted, glowing skin on makeup and glam. For sure, body care can absolutely be part of that world, but only when it has the right intention behind it. His OG Major Glow body balm? That made sense. It served a purpose in the makeup artist world and felt completely aligned with his brand—and truthfully I would actually choose this over this new launch because it feels like I can achieve the same effect that I personally want from her. After diving a little deeper I had some thoughts on this new launch and wanted to break it down for you all—what feels cohesive about it and what I’d skip. Super curious what your take is too, beauty queens! Would you pick these up? Let’s talk about it...
