Iowa Republican U.S. Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks, who is expected to be one of the state's most targeted congressional incumbents, has raised more than $1 million so far this year, new financial reports show.
The reports cover the first quarter of the year, including fundraising and spending that occurred between Jan. 1 and March 31. Miller-Meeks raised $1,018,369 during the first quarter — a number that leads the pack of U.S. House incumbents.
Miller-Meeks won her 2024 race by about 800 votes. She is once again a top target for Democrats as they eye potential pickup opportunities in 2026. Another Republican, David Pautsch, has launched a primary campaign against Miller-Meeks. He unsuccessfully challenged her in 2024 for the 1st District GOP nomination.
