He came. He saw. He took really great pictures.
This weekend, Don Pettit will return to Earth after his 7-month mission to the International Space Station (ISS). Throughout his stay, astro_pettit contributed to research that benefits humanity and supports future space missions.
Pettit also shared what he calls his “”science of opportunity”” to demonstrate how experimenting with our surroundings can help gain a better understanding of how things work. This understanding is enhanced when art, science, and microgravity come together.
