U.S Vice President, J.D Vance, said that he could have been called a "jerk" by Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, after she spoke Italian during a meeting between the two officials in Rome on Friday.⁣ ⁣ After Meloni repeated her opening words in English, Vance joked "I hope that's exactly what you said.
