We’re heading to The Buckeye State for our Army ROTC #Cadetoftheweek 🎉 Meet Madden Phelps, a freshman majoring in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at Denison University in Granville, Ohio. Originally from Cincinnati, Phelps joined #ArmyROTC to strengthen her leadership skills while “physically and mentally pushing myself to limits school and sports cannot allow me to reach.” Phelps is a member of the field hockey team and part of the Denison’s Pre-Law Society and Debate Team. Since joining the Comet Battalion, Phelps has participated in #RangerChallenge, flown in a Black Hawk helicopter, and expanded her knowledge of Army tactics. Phelps’s parents serve as her biggest motivators in leadership. “They are both extremely hard-working individuals who assume leadership roles daily: my mom is a doctor who has recently opened her own office to cater to her patients independently and my dad is the Director of Athletics at Indian Hill High School.” She made the decision to lead ...
