We’re back!!! Sometimes I feel like living with cerebral palsy is one big catch-22! This is a big example of that.
On one hand, it’s so important to keep moving and exercising (safely) to build up strength and endurance. But on the other hand, the way my body naturally moves ends up hurting me in the long run.

#CPaTOz series because it truly was something I did not expect to be dealing with so young.
I’m grateful to have found an amazing orthopedic doctor that has recommended certain supplements and things I can do to manage it, but it’s still something that has begun to impact my day-to-day with things like certain exercises or bending down to pick things up. I just need to be more mindful of my limits and lean on adaptive tools like a grabber, for example, to help retrieve things from the floor or in low places.
