Lightning created quite the snow in the PLains Monday, but heavy hail piled up in Kansas and Oklahoma. In Fenton, Iowa, baseball-sized hail fell, but it had a strange spiky shape, which is created as smaller pieces of hail freeze to it while it's being tossed around by the thunderstorm's updraft.
