Here’s how to create a satisfying slingshot effect with your 360 camera. ⬇️ This is a simple and easy concept for anyone to pull off, but I hadn’t seen it done before. I used the #insta360x5 and extended invisible selfie stick to film myself walking with the camera extended 6-8ft in front of me in different locations. I cut the footage down to short segments that would connect together creating the clean match cut effect. Use keyframes at the beginning and ending of your clip to change the FOV from “Linear” to “Tiny Planet” View. Set your tilt height to 0 and adjust your position. Turn on your guidelines when editing in the Insta360 desktop studio so that you can keep yourself centered. Apply the “Fade-In Fade-Out” transition between the keyframes to achieve the smooth bounce effect.
