On Thursday, May 1st, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (#WIAC) announced the addition of Beloit College in men’s & women’s ice hockey as an affiliate member. The Buccaneers enter their inaugural seasons for 2025-2026 and will join full-time members Wisconsin-Eau Claire, Wisconsin-River Falls, Wisconsin-Stevens Point and Wisconsin-Stout (men’s only) as well as affiliate member Wisconsin-Superior. After the closure announcement of Northland College at the end of this semester, Beloit College extended invitations to both men’s & women’s ice hockey teams as well as each head coach, whom both accepted.
