Hamilton had a career-best 702 series on games of 243, 227 and 232 as the Chipmunks set a state record with a 3,444 team series and ended the Lady Griffs' three-year, 45-match winning streak. In the state singles tournament on April 11 in Baton Rouge, Hamilton topped her team finals performance with a 715 series on games of 226, 255 and 234, finishing 65 pins ahead of the rest of the 48-bowler field to earn the No. 1 seed in the stepladder finals.
