After some of us see showers on Thursday afternoon and evening, the whole Philadelphia region will get rounds of rain on Friday. This rain will be heavy in spots and some areas could see as much as 2-3 inches of precipitation.
There could be a gusty storm Friday evening as well.
The National Weather Service has placed Mercer County, Montgomery County, Bucks County, Berks County and the Lehigh Valley and Poconos in a "slight" or Level 2 risk of excessive rainfall.
We'll be following the upcoming rain on air and online at the link in bio.
