Students and staff gathered across campus, including here in the Fr. Arthur F. Smith, O.S.A. Library & Media Center, for the announcement of the next pope. As the name of Cardinal Robert Prevost, O.S.A. was announced, students were excited to learn the Catholic church had named the first American pontiff in history. Not only that, he is an Augustinian!
