Are you a beginner, or adult dancer, looking for additional training? Joffrey Ballet School offers two Pointe OPEN CLASSES every week!⁠ ⁠ This class is designed for those who have taken at least 1 year of Beginner Ballet classes with our Open Class faculty and have been approved for pointe by the class’ instructor. Dancers who dance en-pointe at a different studio are permitted to take Pointe at Joffrey. If a dancer has not been en-pointe within 1 year, they will need to be assessed by the Open Class faculty member before taking a pointe class. Classes will draw upon previously learned ballet technique, with students working at the barre, in center, and across the floor en pointe. All pointe classes are taught at a Beginner level.
