Last week, #BULaw Appellate Clinic student Greg Bowe (’26) argued a challenging Title IX case before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit in Richmond, Virginia. Bowe wrote the opening and reply brief for the case with his clinic colleagues Erin Hunter (’25) and Sarah Monahan (’26), who helped Bowe prepare and attended the oral argument along with #BULawProf Madeline Meth, director of the Appellate Clinic. After the argument, the team met with Shireen Ardaiz (’24)–who is clerking for Judge DeAndrea Benjamin–and Judge Stephanie Thacker of the United States Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. Congratulations to Greg, Erin, and Sarah and thank you to the co-counsel and to #BULawProf Naomi Mann, Jen McCloskey, Caitlin Glass, Kathy Luz, and Jay Wexler for helping the students to prepare.
