Hundreds of life-size animal puppets are traveling across the world as part of an artistic response to raise awareness around the climate emergency.
Organizers have called the public art installation the largest ever attempted, with the puppets making a 20,000km journey from Africa to the Arctic Circle.
The five-month odyssey began in the Congo Basin last month, with the puppets made from raw materials and engineered to move like real animals.
As the procession stops through countries, residents will be trained in puppet-making and performance and will add their own animals.
It will conclude in August, after growing to a diverse range of puppets representing species that are increasingly threatened by a warming climate.
