Graduation season is in full swing, and for Jazzmine White, a single mother and non-traditional student, the day holds a special significance. White is earning her degree in social science from Fresno State, coinciding with her daughter's graduation on the same day. "Even though I’m older than most of my classmates, I was able to add my life experience and a different perspective," said White.
