Have you ever made macarons? We’ve always wanted to learn how to make the delicate French treat, so Team Cherry Bombe and bouvetladubay hosted a special hands-on macaron class this past weekend at ateliersucre_ny in the East Village. Chef Simon Herfray walked us through each step, from heating sugar for the meringue to piping perfect circles and crafting luscious lemon curd and rich chocolate ganache.  As the shells baked, we sipped on Bouvet Trésor Rosé Sparkling Wine and Saphir Saumur Brut Vintage in the school’s backyard. The final touch? Decorating our macarons with edible watercolors—think cherries, emojis, and some interesting doodles. Everyone left with a box of their hand-painted sweets, a copy of Cherry Bombe’s Love Issue, and lots of respect for all the macaron makers out there! #bombesquad #macarons
