It’s insane to think about how every single post would get taken down when we first started (for sexual content). Every single one! So we rallied our troops (all of you) and started a petition and got a crazy amount of signatures in a crazy short time. Anyone remember this? During this time Empowered Birth Project was in the middle of fighting IG to allow birth content. Instagram also acknowledged our petition and realized policies needed to be changed for breastfeeding content too. We finally had a seat at the table. The Little Milk Bar and Empowered Birth Project was our very first collab! Who remembers these tees? And the rest is history! We fucking did it! It literally fills my heart seeing all the breastfeeding content now out there. Do we still have work to do? Yes! Do breastfeeding ads still get taken down for “sexual content”? Yes! Are we on an even playing field yet? No. #cantstopwontstop
