I had the honor and privilege of being able to share some JOY and DANCE with the Bare Feet family here in NYC - on Tuesday, April 29th (International Dance Day!), together with tourismireland, we hosted the Bare Feet Season 7 Launch Party, kicking off 15 years of Bare Feet and the premiere of the newest season of the show on pbs.  It was over 100 of us coming together to get a taste of what was in store for this new season, including a short screening, libations from mcconnellsdistillery, live Irish dance and music provided by oleary.niall and friends, and then of course, a proper Irish Ceili to get everyone on the dance floor!  Last month’s event was a beautiful reminder to celebrate the wins, no matter how big or small they are.  Later that week, we learned of the proposed defunding of public media, putting stations like pbs and npr at risk.  Then only last week, we learned of the potential closure of the National Endowment for the Arts (neaarts), which helps support arts organizati...
