I've been around racing since I was a child, so it's not often I have new experiences. Today was a day full of new experiences. I ventured to turn one & witnessed the cars at full speed for the first time. If you want to know how I felt, scroll to the last picture. I also got to interview my first nascar drivers, one of which was in a room full of people who professionally do what I am working towards doing. During the press conference, I kept trying to talk myself out of asking my question. I felt serious imposter syndrome because I don't ask technical questions. My questions are always geared towards the community, personalities and fan engagement. Finally I said to myself, "you're in this room for a reason" & asked it. Moral of the story, you belong in the rooms you're in. You did something to deserve being in that room.
