Using a mold opens up a lot more room for innovation and play in the formula; it allows for different textures, finishes, and ingredient combinations that wouldn’t always hold up under traditional pressing methods. So when I spot a detailed design, it actually does indicate something to me as a product developer: it tells me the brand was able to get a little more creative with the formula itself!
