Growing up, I lost my passion for basketball because it started feeling more like a job than a joy. I was overworked, burned out, and eventually injured. Now as a dad, I see the game differently.
I’m not tryna raise a hooper— I’m tryna raise a kid who laughs, learns and if she ends up hooping one day… cool. So every drill I make looks like a game, feels like a memory, and builds skills without her even realizing it.
We’re training, laughing, learning—and most importantly, she’s falling in love with the process, not just the results. The goal is joy first, always.
