Because Jesus lives, we have lasting joy. That doesn't mean we experience happiness every second of every day. It doesn't even mean that we have more good days than bad days. Lasting joy means that we have an eternity of experiencing joy waiting for us. Revelation 21 tells us about this new place that is so much better than anything we could compare it to here on earth. And the amazing thing is - it's all for you, because Jesus loved you and gave himself up for you.
