As we highlighted in our year-end Transition Player of the Year analysis (link in bio), only two players had per-game averages in the following stats to rank Top 100 in each category: goals, assists, loose balls, caused turnovers and blocks. Those players were Zach Currier and Ryan Terefenko, who finished
#1 &
#2 respectively in our recap.
Only six players’ averages got them into 4/5 categories, which included not so surprisingly players that play a majority of minutes in their own end (Challen Rogers, Owen Grant and Jake Boudreau), but also three forwards: Lyle Thompson, Will Malcom, and maybe most impressively, rookie Adam Poitras, who finished second behind Will Johansen in The Lax Mag’s ROTY rundown (again, link in bio).
