Ever wondered what it takes to work on pitlane during a race with the race cars? Wonder no more! These requirements are Sportscar races only. F1 is totally different. 1) a helmet. It will likely do absolutely nothing to save your life, it’s just for insurance reasons. But necessary anyway. 2) a series assigned pitlane photo vest. Not everybody with credentials will be given one. Only those with the experience to work on pitlane , and those that need to be out there in the middle of all of it for our clients. 3) an FIA rated fire suit. The same rating that the drivers and mechanics have to wear. No, we are not provided one, we have to provide it ourselves. And they are expensive.
