šŸŽ Check out this 3D stop motion + making of, a collaboration with polycam3d and anderson_rohr For every bite was created one 3D scan.Ā AndersonĀ never took so long to eat an applešŸ˜… Workflow: Used a cross polarisation filter on his iPhone in order to reduce the reflections, and Polycam app to scan an apple 10 times. Also, a handmade pottery cup and a sofa was scanned using Polycam app. Sometime agoĀ AndersonĀ did a collab with NVIDIA and received that Ray Tracing Gems II book which was also created in 3D to compose some 3D scenes. Then all 3D scans were quickly downloaded from Polycam website and imported into Unreal Engine 5.3 whereĀ AndersonĀ created materials and played with some parameters like emissive, roughness and specular. Each frame is animated, changing the apple meshes, some rotation and camera movement, hit render, and that’s it!
