LIONS TOP OC RECORD AGAIN AT STATE PRELIMS: The jserra.tfxc Girls 4x400m relay team was once again in record setting form on the opening day of the 105th annual CIF State Track and Field Championships on Friday at Buchanan High School in Clovis. One week after breaking the county record with a 3:46.30 effort at the CIF-SS Masters Meet, the relay quartet of freshman Morgan Woolforde, senior Anne Elise Packard, junior Chloe Elbaz, and junior Maya Woolforde stealthily navigated the baton around the track in a new county record clocking of 3:45.85. That effort was the fifth fastest time of the day and advanced the Lions back into the state finals. Packard and Elbaz also highlighted the qualifying race action in the 800m.
