IMPACT BBDO has once again raised the bar of creative social impact campaigns with its work for UN Women, ‘Child Wedding Cards.’ After winning the Grand Prix for Good at Cannes Lions, the work earned Grand Prix of the Year in Public Service Advertising at MAD STARS 2024. Ali Rez, CCO of Impact BBDO, expressed his excitement about the award, while recognizing its significance for UN Women, and the global attention it brings to the issue of child marriage. “MAD STARS is a very tough show to win at, and winning Grand Prix of the Year is quite the ultimate recognition,” he said. The campaign has had tremendous social and political impact, influencing the Federal Islamic Court to pave the way for Pakistan to raise the minimum age for marriage. In addition to winning one of only two Grand Prix of the Year, Impact BBDO led the MENA region with eight trophies, including Grand Prix in Print for Annahar Newspaper’s ‘The AI President.’ Swipe to see #TheWorkTheWorkTheWork
